Be A Santa To A Senior
Nov. 15 – Dec. 12, 2011
Help us share the holiday spirit & brighten the lives of lonely or isolated seniors in our community this holiday season! PharmaHealth will be helping Home Instead Senior Care collect gifts for local seniors by hosting a “Be A Santa To A Senior” Tree or Wreath in each of our stores. Home Instead Senior Care partners with local non-profit & community organizations to identify seniors who might not otherwise receive gifts this holiday season.
How It Works:
1. Go to any of our pharmacy locations.
2. Choose an ornament off the tree/wreath. Each ornament will have the first name of a local senior with their gift request, which generally range in price from $5 - $20.
3. Purchase that gift and return it to the same PharmaHealth location, unwrapped and with the ornament attached to the gift.
4. Volunteers will pick up the gifts, wrap and hand them out to each senior before Christmas.
Please join us in helping to make a difference!
PharmaHealth Raises Money for Autism Awareness Month
April 2011 - April is Autism Awareness month and as a pharmacy we are collecting donations to support the programs at the Schwartz Center for Children in Dartmouth, MA. The Center is an organization that has been providing high quality therapeutic interventions, medical care and education to children living in Southeastern Mass with developmental & medical special needs, including autism, for the past 60 years.
To help raise money, we are accepting donations of $1.00 or more. For a donation of $1.00, each donor can write their name on a paper “I Support Autism Awareness” ribbon that will be displayed around the store for the month of April. We are also selling Autism Bracelets for $3.00. The total donation will be made at the beginning of May (as the last day of April is on a Saturday). The Schwartz Center will be made aware that the donations are a collaboration from the generous donations of our patients.
